When compared to more traditional teaching methods, research shows that students on average better use and apply skills and knowledge if they have acquired them through projects.
This workshop will introduce the participants to designing project-based learning that maximizes student learning and minimizes potential difficulties, such as problems with workload, motivation, project failures. After the immersive experience in the project-based learning environment, the workshop will present the research evidence and suggest strategies that strengthen students’ deeper understanding of technical concepts and develop transversal skills such as autonomy, project management and team management skills.
