RYA YOUTH SAILING SCHEME – Stage 1, 2 and 3 Full and half-day options
Half-day: 9.30 am to 12.30 pm OR 1 pm to 4 pm
Full day: 9.30 am to 4 pm
This course is for those new to sailing and wanting to achieve Stage 1 or 2 and those more experienced sailors wanting to achieve Stage 3.
Please note the Stage 3 group will be separate onshore from the lower stages due to the differing syllabus.
It will be run across five days and there is no prior experience required.
For stage 3, stage 2 must have been achieved prior.
Minimum Age: 8

Launching and recovery, steering, parts of the boat, basic sailing.

NOTE: There is a non-refundable administration fee of for each transaction
What to Bring
– Wetsuit boots or an old pair of trainers
– Swimwear for under the wetsuit, towel, dry change of clothes
– Sunscreen/cap
– Water/juice, lunch and snacks
*Note: wellington boots, wetsuit socks, flip-flops and Crocs are NOT suitable footwear for dinghy sailing.
We can provide buoyancy aids (can’t guarantee all the sizes).
Changing rooms & showers are available.
Pick up time is strictly 12.30 pm for the morning session and 4 pm for the afternoon/full-day session.
