NCIC Advanced Practice Conference 2024

We are pleased to announce we are holding a second NCIC Advanced Practice Conference following the success of last years event.

The conference will take place on Monday 11th November 2024 at Energus, Workington and the title is "Developing the care of Advancing Practice"

The conference will be a full day event celebrating the achievements of advanced practitioners within the trust and allowing other collaboratives to come and see the difference you make to your services.

Talks will include:
• Welcome and introduction from Steven Morgan – Trust Chair
• Keynote speaker Ross Miscandlon, a Principal Consultant for Continuous Improvement, who will discuss teamwork and leadership
• Frailty is everyone’s business - recognition and identification, complications, differing presentations, shared decision making and what matters to me
• Affirming professional language

There will be workshops throughout the day including:
• Equality, diversity, inclusivity
• Lean Management Principles
• Building the research pillar
• What does good supervision look like
• Interpretation of blood results
