Two-day workshop focusing on knightly fighting techniques of the 13th century, led by guest instructors Gilles Martinez and Nath Dos Reis and hosted by Historic Equitation and Dr. Tobias Capwell. The practical tutorials will focus on high medieval fighting techniques with various weapons, foremost arming sword and shield. The practical training will be complemented by illustrated talks by Toby Capwell and Nath Dos Reis.
Hot lunch provided each day. Saturday evening meal available at an extra cost.

Fencing jacket or padded gambeson
12th- or 13th-century shield
