This projet aims to support the mental health and wellbeing of kids aged 8-16 through access to paddlesports during school holidays.
The children and young people will take a journey through Durham City on canoes on these 1.5 hour sessions.
Instrukciók
Please meet us at Durham Amatour Rowing Club at the start of the session.
For Canoeing you will need to bring: towel, change of warm clothes and trainers you do not mind getting wet. You may get a little splashed.
You will need to bring a spare pair of shoes to wear on the session, water shoes or old trainers are perfect (NO crocs, sandals or wellies)
We provide all specialist equipment - wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets, waterproofs and craft/paddles.

Drive down the lane and just prior to the rowing club is the entrance to a gravel car park on your right. You can park here then meet us outside the Rowing Club. Please be aware that this is a pay by phone car park and you will need to arrange payment for your own vehicle. Currently charges for this car park are; £0.80 for up to 1 hour, £1.20 for up to two hours £2.30 for up to 4 hours, £3 for up to 6 hours & £5 for up to 24 hours.
Please be aware that you are not allowed to park in the tarmac car park directly outside of the rowing club and will be issued a ticket should you park there
