Rooted Movement
Movement and Music in Nature in Tipperary for Health and Well-Being
This is a new project to connect people to nature, movement and music in the natural setting of Knockanacree Woodlands in Cloughjordan, Co. Tipperary.
In 2026 a Tipperary Creative Ireland Project Award has been awarded to test and pilot this programme in the area. It will run over a series of six Friday mornings between May and June 2026. It is open to all, and free to participate.
Fridays, 10am to 11.30am - 1st, 8th, 15th, 29th May, 5th, 12th June
A person can attend one session, or all six sessions, but each session must be booked online to ensure there is a silent disco headset available for you on each date.
IF YOU PLAN TO BOOK ALL SIX SESSIONS ADD ONE EVENT, AND THEN WHEN THAT PROCESS IS ALMOST COMPLETE, CLICK ON 'SELECT MORE' ON THE LEFT SIDE AND YOU CAN ADD THE OTHER DATES SO ALL YOUR BOOKINGS GET DONE IN ONE SWEEP RATHER THAN 6 EMAILS/6 PROCESSES
The benefits of Dance and Movement are widely known and accepted, as are the benefits of Music and being outdoors immersed in Nature.
Bring your umbrella and rain coat to protect the silent-disco-headsets and meet at the main entrance of Knockanacree Woods at 10am on each date. A water bottle for drinking is also good to have.

Umbrella and rain-coat are both essential pieces of kit for participation - they'll be needed to protect the silent-disco-headsets from damage if it rains. Please ensure you have access to both before committing, thanks.
