There are numerous versions of this early lower case script that was developed from Uncial, but which is slimmer, can be slightly pointed or rather rounded and is therefore, open to designing fun variations. The workshop will begin with a brief overview of its origins, a demonstration of its basic form and then it will cover how to modify its characteristics to develop your own personal version.

Materials list:
• Cartridge or your favourite practice paper
• Ink or paint, diluted/mixed and ready to write with
• Broad-edge nibs (sizes approx. WM 2 or Brause 2 mm) or a Pilot Parallel pen
