Wild Bop at St Ann’s Well Gardens 🌿
An early morning dance session in one of Hove’s most magical and ancient green spaces.
St Ann’s Well Gardens sits on a ley line - an ancient energetic pathway running through the earth beneath our feet. For centuries people have come to this very spot to heal, restore and reconnect. Long before we knew what a nervous system was, humans knew that this land had something.
We’re going to dance on it.
Wild Bop is free movement with silent disco headsets and a carefully curated musical journey. No routines, no choreography, no guiding, no right or wrong way to move. Just you, your body, the music and the earth beneath you.
We’ll begin with a gentle warm up, move into full free dancing and close with a slow come down and then meditation, lying on the grass, guided back to stillness.
Bring a yoga mat, wear something you can move in and come with an open heart!
This is not a fitness class.
This is medicine ✌️
What to bring:
🌿 Yoga mat or something to lie on for the cool down
🎧 We provide silent disco headsets - just show up!
💧 Water bottle
👟 Comfy clothes you can move freely in
🧥 A light layer just in case - it’s early!
What to expect:
Arrive from 6.15am so we can get your headset sorted and you have a moment to land before we begin. We start at 6.30am prompt (also find if you’re late).
Finding us:
We’ll be in the flat open area of St Ann’s Well Gardens in front of the cafe. Main entrance on Somerhill Road, Hove BN3 1RH.
Parking:
On street parking free before 8am - Somerhill Road, Furze Hill and Nizells Avenue all have spaces nearby.
Please note there are no public toilets open at this time
A few things to know:
This is free movement - there are no routines to follow and no right or wrong way to move. Come exactly as you are. 🌿
We dance in nature so please dress for the weather and check your booking confirmation for any weather update emails.
