Price: £50
Lullingstone Castle is one of England’s oldest family estates, dating back to the time of Domesday. The present Manor House and Gatehouse built in 1497 have been home to the same family ever since.
Back in 2005 the plant hunter Tom Hart Dyke began to lay out his innovative World Garden in the shape of the map of the world. The garden pays homage to the Victorian and Edwardian plant hunters who brought back plants and flowers we now love and grow in our gardens in the UK. The garden also contains rare plants which Tom has collected during his travels around the world, and was last visited by KGT members back in 2014.
Our visit will begin with coffee on arrival, following which will be a visit to the church. A tour of the house completes the morning. A guided tour of the garden will follow a buffet lunch.
