Lead by the fabulous trainers at Mini First Aid Somerset, this 2-hour Baby & Child First Aid class covers CPR, Choking, Bumps, Burns, Breaks, Bleeding, Febrile Seizures and Meningitis & Sepsis Awareness and will give everyone who attends the peace of mind they deserve.
Mini First Aid partner with the First Aid Industry Body, Children’s Burns Trust, Meningitis Research Foundation & Sepsis Trust for the latest in medical research updates to support our teaching.
They have not only received awards for the quality of the classes but consistently those who attend review Mini First Aid as a 5-star first aid class.
This practical class covers first aid techniques suitable from new born baby and throughout childhood, and is a must have for new parents or those regularly caring for babies and children.
Pre-crawling babies welcome.
Venue: Little Diamonds Family Nurture can be found through the front door of Crispin Hall, then on the right hand side.
There is limited pram space so where possible please bring your baby in a carrier to help us.
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of the class.
Parking: There are lots of parking options nearby; with Southside car park being the closest, Clarks Village car parks and Cranhill further along the High Street. If you need assistance or directions for the car parks please get in touch and we can advise you further.
What to bring: Please bring a small blanket or towel for your baby to lie on, and everything you would normally take for a small trip out.
If you're walking you can park your prams in the foyer by the wall if needed.
Baby's needs: All of our classes are baby led, so no matter what we are doing please tend to your baby as you would do at home. Please bring and use a changing mat for nappy changes, and ensure you take dirty nappies home.
Photography: You are more than welcome to take photos at our classes but we ask that you are mindful not to include other children in your photos, and if you do so to ask parents permission before posting on any social media.
