Standing Acro Convention 2025

Standing Acro is back!

Join us in Bristol for THREE FULL DAYS of training and exploration in partner and group acrobatics ✨

Learn from highly experienced coaches, hailing from companies such as Gravity & Other Myths (Australia), Cirque du Soleil, Copenhagen Collective (Denmark), Many Hands (UK), Team England Cheer, and the best of the European and American convention scene.

Choose from over 30 workshops, including:

• duo acrobatics: static and dynamic skills, hand to hand, acrobalance, techniques for different sizes and shapes.
• group acrobatics: banquine, towers, swinging, toss, and cheerleading stunts.
• adagio, sequencing, and dance acro.

Venue

The convention will take place at Chellaram Sports Complex, a brand new sports hall with a fully matted floor, multiple lunge lines, natural lighting, and a bonus bouldering wall!

There are showers and changing facilities and free parking on-site.

We also have access to green fields for outdoor jamming if the weather permits.

Friday: 9:30am - 9pm
Saturday: 9:30am - 9pm
Sunday: 9:30am - 8pm

Each day begins with a warm up, followed by three workshop rounds spread throughout the day. Each workshop round has at least 3 options to choose from. There will also be individual coaching available.

Food

Hot lunches on-site are available to purchase via a subsidised meal pass.
You are welcome to bring your own food, however please note that there are no supermarkets or cafes nearby.

Accommodation

The event does not include accommodation. We encourage local hosting where possible as it's a great way to meet people - please get in touch if you need help finding a place to stay.

Eligibility

Please read the following information carefully:

1.All participants must be able to perform the following pre-requisites in order to attend:

• Solo handstand against a wall for 30 seconds.
• Standing foot to hand with an unassisted entry and exit.

2.We do our best to balance flyer/base ratios so that everyone can participate fully in duo workshops. Please select the ticket option that suits you best for duo skills.

3.All attendees must be over 18 on 18th July 2025.
