How can we use time in our later years to glorify God?
The time we spend after our paid work finishes amounts to a large chunk of our lives. Should we call it ‘retirement’ or is it time to look at it in a fresh way? From godly grand-parenting to health and fitness, our Ministry in the Third Age course will help you to unlock and truly utilise the gifts of this period of life.
During the course, you’ll cover areas such as:
Ministry in the Third Age is for anyone of any age, retired or not, who wants to learn more about how to sensibly and biblically approach this time of life. It will help you if you came on the previous Equipped course on Third Age ministry, as well as to those new to Equipped.
Course tutor:
Dave Fenton is a visiting lecturer at Moorlands College and is the Ambassador for the AfterWork project. AfterWorkNet https://afterworknet.com/ explores many of the issues surrounding the Third Age and was recently launched by CARE https://www.care.org.uk/.
Dates and timings:
7pm – 9pm on Mondays
Spread over eight Monday evenings, starting from 1 October – 26 November
(Please note: There is no class on 22 October)
Price:
£85 for eight Mondays, or £65 if you book before 1 September 2018.
