I really want to offer a regular space that you can nurture your body and mind, relax, breathe and connect with like minded people. The intention is to share tools to help manage the day to day demands of life with a little more ease, perhaps a little more compassion for yourself without feeling obliged to make a commitment to attend weekly classes.
So what’s involved?
I’ll be offering a monthly yoga class with a focus on mindful movement, breathing exercises, meditation techniques and Yoga Nidra to promote a deep sense of rest.
1 hr 30min in length to allow space for both active and passive movement of the body. This also allows space to explain and teach some of the meditation practices and breathing techniques in more detail.
Class numbers limited to 10 attendees per session to allow for extra props and options for relaxing assists (I will always see permission first).
Wear something comfortable, leggings or loungewear is perfect. Bring water, a blanket if you like and a jumper for during/after class as the body cools down quickly. Cosy socks are always a good idea too.
All yoga equipment is provided. Blankets and eye pillows are also available but you're more than welcome to come along with your own.
