A baby massage class especially for Dads
A rare chance for dads to come along to a baby class that's focused solely on them and their baby.
During the hour-long session you'll learn massage strokes to soothe your baby and support their sleep, digestion and development. If your baby needs to feed, be cuddled or sleep during the sessions that's fine - there's no expectation for you to massage your baby there and then! I'll help you to recognise the signs that they're ready for a massage and you'll have a handout with all the strokes we've covered so you can practise at home.
This is a lovely opportunity to spend some 1:1 time with your baby and chat to other local dads at a similar stage of parenthood to you. We'll also have time for refreshments from the café at the end.
Suitable from birth to crawling off the mat!
I'll provide you with a small bottle of grapeseed massage oil (to keep) plus a mat, cushion and small towel for the session but please bring anything else you need for you and your baby to be comfortable. I recommend packing a spare towel in case of accidents!
This session is being held at Cornerstone - the brand new hall right next door to The Kingshill Kitchen so that, if mums need to be close by, they can spend some time enjoying a coffee in the café!
