Jennie Negus – Holding Their Stories

Jennie recently retired has written "Holding Their Stories' - my life in Nursing, care, compassion and the NHS.

Jennie reflects on key patient scenarios that informed the nurse she became, how she learnt care and compassion from experts by experience. How being there, being present is sometimes the most important thing you can do. Throughout her career Jennie delivered care, supported service improvements and new service developments by putting the expert by experience at the front and centre of the care she delivered and the services she led. The book is a moving reflection.
