Treat yourself to a fun day learning a new skill at our Archery Beginners' Course. This course follows Archery GB guidelines and is run by qualified Archery GB Coaches.
We will teach you about safety, range layout, etiquette, scoring, equipment, barebow shooting and Olympic style recurve shooting. We'll also fit in a fun shoot at the end of the day so you get a lot of shooting in!
Successful completion of the course will earn you a certificate which many Archery clubs will want to see before you can join them. We can also advise you about joining clubs and how to continue with archery if you would like to. The bonus of this course is that it is all completed in one day (10am - 4:30pm), which makes it ideal for anyone who is finding it difficult to commit to a series of sessions.
Children under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult at all times.
We will provide tea/coffee and biscuits, please bring a travel mug and lunch/any other snacks you may need to keep yourself fuelled! There are lots of places to eat nearby for lunch if you prefer.
Wear layers to stay comfortable and please avoid clothing with any tassels. You will need to have long hair tied back and closed toe shoes. Please remove any facial/torso piercings.

The Hall has it's own car park, and is situated to the left of the car park as you drive in. Please access the Hall from the side door - across the grass garden area.
