We are very lucky to have local photographer, Heidi Burton, join us for one of our Easter holiday club sessions. Heidi will be running a nature photography workshop for your budding photographers. A great introduction to the art with a qualified and experienced professional photographer. Perfect for those thinking about Art or Photography GCSE or A level as well as those wanting to learn more and expand their skills. Heidi will cover the basics of nature photography and how to use the light around you to produce interesting images while taking a closer look at the world around you. Heidi will show you how to get the best out of your camera, smartphone or tablet. The one-day workshop is for 11-16 yr olds and includes lunch, refreshments and instruction. Cameras are not provided so participants will need to bring their own camera, smart phone or tablet to be able to fully take part.
The quarry is up Wood Lane, off Bristol Road Lower (not the Old Town Quarry). We request that you park on the main road or other streets so that our neighbours are not inconvenienced.
Directions: Walk up Wood Lane to the end of the tarmac and then follow it straight up into the woods. A small clearing will open on your right with a big oak tree and green gates. What3Words location: forgot.rarely.bared.
We will meet at the gate for 10am. The gate will be locked for safeguarding and security so, if you arrive after 10am, please ring 07391 556939 and we will come and let you in!

Please park on the main road not on Wood Lane. Walk up Wood Lane to the top of the tarmac and hen continue u the cobbled path into the woods. There will be green gates on your right about 50 metres into the woods. A member of the team will meet you at the gates.
