This course is aimed at swimmers that struggle with relaxing and breathing when they are in the water.
Each week we will explore different ways to relax and regulate your breathing making swimming easier and more enjoyable.
It is aimed at swimmers of all levels as we will only be focusing on breathing skills and not stroke technique.
Think of it as calming yoga in the water
This is a course of 6 x 30 minute sessions aimed at swimmers who would like learn in a private pool, free from spectators and members of the public.
Don't be nervous, we all started somewhere and our swim coaches are warm and welcoming.
PLEASE NOTE - You must be able to put your face in the water, float and swim 2 lengths any stroke any style to join this course.
This course is particularly suitable if you are anxious about starting your swimming journey and would like to improve your confidence in the pool/water
If you are unable to put your face in the water and are aquaphobic please see our 1:1 lessons specifically designed and coached by Level 2 Aquaphobics coach.

All of our sessions and lessons are led by qualified and insured Swim Teachers and Open Water coaches who have a wealth of experience and a passion for making swimming accessible to all.
We teach in small groups with a focus on building confidence in our swimmers. We provide a warm and welcoming environment for you to feel comfortable and learn. We will gently encourage you on your journey towards your swim goals and help you realise your potential, however well-hidden it may be!

All of our lessons and sessions are non-refundable and non- exchangeable. All requests will be politely declined. Please make sure you are available to attend at the time of booking and that you meet the swim ability course requirements. It is really important that our customers understand this and you will be asked to confirm you've understood our Terms and Conditions when you book.

You will need a swimsuit, swim hat and goggles.
There is free parking at the pool.
The pool can be hard to find if you have not been there before. The postcode is BN1 6PW. Directions are as follows;
• Turn onto Draxmont Way from Surrenden Road – the road is a dual carriage way and so Draxmont Way can only be accessed on the southbound side. There are places to turn on the carriage way and access the southbound side don’t worry!
• Head down Draxmont way after 100metres or so the road turns right into Vardean Holt. Ignore this and continue straight on to Stringer Way which has a Private Propery sign and looks more like a footpath or track but is in fact a narrow road.
• Continue along Stringer Way almost as far as you can go with school playing fields on your left and houses on your right. After a the last flint building on your right turn right and this is the pool carpark.
The pool is behind a hedge from the carpark.
