Nature group for preschool explorers
Come and join us on an adventure playing and exploring outdoors. We get up to lots of mucky fun bug hunting, digging for worms, watching tadpoles, making mud pies, create beautiful nature inspired art, and have lots and lots of outdoor fun.
We’re always looking for wildlife, bug hunting for worms, beetles and snails; listening for birds and looking for signs of the animals we share our spaces with.
Our sessions are very informal and are all about the children leading their exploration, which is how we find children learn best. We have weekly themes and link these in with a craft and a story, providing them with spotting/nature ID sheets and magnifying classes so they can get up close to the natural world, and help support their natural curiosity. However, if they want to just splash in a muddy puddle, that's fine too, it is, after all, and important way to learn about the world around them.

We take a very Scandinavian approach to weather and play outdoors all year round, in all weather. Please make sure children and adults are dressed appropriately, with waterproofs and wellies when needed.
