Our HAF sessions offer a variety of opportunities and are free for children eligible for free school meals and/or on the SEN register. These sessions are funded by Bring It On Brum.
For this session we’ll be joined by Matt and his team from Beyond boundaries, who will deliver a fun and practical session playing games and engaging in sport based activity developing skills such as throwing, catching, balancing, batting, and running.
You can engage with the session to the level appropriate to your young person with the team encouraging the children to try new things or build on existing skills.
The session will run in two groups.
While one group takes part in the games, the other group will enjoy our relaxed Stay & Play offer at Maple House School, with access to the hall, outdoor areas and the dining/community room. There will also be the option for the young people to choose what they would like to add to their own freshly made fruit smoothie
The session is child‑led, with a wide range of toys and equipment available. Children can explore, play and unwind in a safe, secure environment while grown‑ups get time to chat and relax.
This summer we’re also introducing brand‑new sensory equipment, including a spinning seat, dark den, weighted blankets, vibrating cushions, additional visuals and talking buttons.
On arrival please access school through the Community Garden on Bournville Green where you will be met by a SEND Socials representative who will check you in to the session.
Please note: We do not offer childcare and parent / carers are to remain with their child(ren) at all times for all of our sessions

If your child is of school age between Reception and Yr 11 and has SEND, or is in receipt of benefits related Free School Meals you will be eligible for this ticket. Where this ticket type is selected and your child is not eligible attendance will rely on an appropriate ticket being paid for.
