This workshop is for professionals and key contact people who, in the course of their work, come into contact with people who have been bereaved through suicide. It explores the unique needs of suicide bereavement, equipping participants to provide support in the safest and most effective ways possible.
To Note:
Please be aware of the emotional nature of the content of our training and take time to self-care after training; see www.yourmentalhealth.ie for more information. If you have been bereaved by suicide or affected by suicidal behaviour in the recent past, please attend only when you feel emotionally ready to do so.
A certificate of attendance will be issued on completion of the full programme. This training may be eligible for CPD points from your accrediting body. Please contact them directly for further details.
We would ask that you only book a training place if you are certain you can attend on that date and in that county, this is so that we can avoid reduced numbers on the day of training. While the training is free to you as a participant, it is delivered at a cost to the HSE.
