I came to Yoga through Buddhism. I have been practising Buddhism for 10 years and through my interest in all things spiritual and personal growth, I arrived on a Yoga Mat ☺
That was 8 years ago and from that moment I fell in love with all aspects of this practise both on and off the mat.
I am qualified with a 200hr Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training Certificate. Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a creative form of Yoga where the poses are linked together with the breath in a flowing sequence. I love this style of Yoga because of the variety, there is no standard sequence in Vinyasa Yoga, the style, pace and intensity will vary depending on the teacher. The class may be dynamic and focus on strengthening postures or it may be a slower flow with an emphasis on mobility and flexibility….no 2 classes are ever the same and there is something for everyone from beginners through to advanced students.
EVERYONE knows how much I love Yoga ☺ I encourage every living being to at least give it a go and step onto the mat. The mental, physical, spiritual benefits I have gained have been life changing. I feel amazing every time I step off my mat and want everyone else to feel the same. It has changed my life so much for the better I make completely different choices now in looking after my mind and body always striving for that ‘middle’ way (the odd glass of red wine never did anyone any harm☺). So come and give it a go I promise you will LOVE IT and we will definitely have some FUN along the way! x
So where can you find me when I am not teaching Yoga…..Studio One Student / Studio One Rambling / Studio One Social…..you getting the gist….ha ha ha!!! I also love walking being outdoors in nature putting the world to rights with my friends it usually goes like….walking, talking (a lot), eating, drinking in that order!!! Repeat….!!! ☺
Namaste – See you on the Mat
