Join Melonie for a day deep in ceremony and crafting.
Create your own shamanic style frame drum and beater.
We will gather together and ground, setting our intentions for the day.
Then we will work with the hoops and hides, honouring where they have come from and what we will be doing with them.
We will mark out the shapes for the drum head, cut the lacing and after lunch we will start to bring the pieces of your drums together!
We will weave and wrap and birth your drum!
Then we will make a beater.
If time permits we will take part in a journey to meet the spirit of your drums before the end of the day.
An information sheet will be sent to you with details of what to prepare and bring.
