Acrobatic Sequencing with Mestre Tico is an intermediate to advanced level (ability to do macaco or a back handspring) workshop for capoeiristas and movers of all disciplines who wish to work on acrobatic sequencing.
This workshop will focus on the use of alignment and the efficient circling of energy generated though momentum.
November 5th we will orient to the space, schedule and basic preparation.
November 6-7 we will work within a professional circus “Trapezium” located 30 min drive from the Field Center, that has foam pits, mats and lots of support for learning.
Possible Schedule
Tuesday 4-6 registration, 7-8 dinner, 8-9 orientation welcome circle
Wednesday and Thursday 8:30-9:30 breakfast
10-11:30 morning session
11:30-12 drive to NECCA
12--3:45 acrobatics session at NECCA
3:45-4:15 drive back to the field center
6:30-7:30 dinner
8-9 evening activity
Friday
8:30-9:30 breakfast
10-11:30 morning session and closing circle
12-1:30 clean

Work Trade
$100 discounted tuition in exchange for 6 hours of work - primarily leading meal clean shifts, and assisting with meal prep. Work trade participants must be present for the first dinner & dinner clean shift, and must attend the whole 4 or 5 days of the workshop.
