Come to our pop-up online Menopause Café in honour of World Menopause Day!
This is an open meeting for people of all genders to come and chat about all things perimenopause and menopause related. It is aimed at breaking down the taboo around menopause, increasing awareness of the impact of the menopause on those experiencing it, their family, friends and their colleagues, and reflecting on the ‘third stage of life’.
Essential ground rules:
*Non-judgemental - people might have different views to you and that’s ok.
*Respect - ourselves, each other and the space.
*Open hearted - trust that everyone is doing the best they can.
*You don’t have to share personal stories but you might need to be prepared to listen.
*Confidential - what’s shared in the café stays in the café (except your own stories that you're free to do what you like with of course!).
This event is organised and hosted by us at The Nest Southwest CIC, and is run on a not-for-profit donation basis to cover admin costs.
We also meet monthly on the first Friday of the month. 10am - 12pm, and In November are trying an evening meeting on Friday 12th from 7pm - 9pm. Our in person Menopause Café is hosted at The Glorious Art House. 120 Fore St, Exeter EX4 3JQ. More details on each event page.
Please come ready to turn your camera and microphone on as the menopause café is an interactive space to meet people and chat.
