Son of an Aerospace Design Engineer and English teacher - so I must have it in my blood! Trained as Industrial Designer (BA Hons) then spent 5 years in industry designing for the world's largest producer of food production machinery. Focusing on user interface, machine specifications and the design process. Trained as a teacher to bring innovative thinking into state education; spent 20 years teaching in three schools; including 5 years leading a newly branded Design faculty though Technology Specialist Schools status. Our students won the prestigious 'Ransome's awards' for innovation three times consecutively. Left state education to set up Time & Space Learning to educate our own children, provide Home Educators with technology solutions and Alternative Education Provision to local schools. Most recently developing a farm site to accommodate T&S; Learned to drive HGV to tour a huge bus equipped with CAD CAM suite and currently working with my wife Bev and other education specialists on Democratic and independent learning resources for Home Education.
