The art of Bargello embroidery

Join textiles expert Gepher in her studio at Valentines Mansion where you will be introduced to the wonderful art of Bargello embroidery, a technique that uses straight stitches to create striking, geometric patterns. You will take away a kit to continue your Bargello journey at home and have an opportunity at a future workshop (date TBC) to transform your work into a cushion or to embellish an item of clothing or bag.

All resources necessary to start your Bargello journey will be provided, and you are welcome to bring a packed lunch or snacks and water as there will be short breaks during the session. If glasses are required for close work it is essential that you attend the workshop with these.
