RYA Youth Sailing (3/4) - Intermediate Sailing

Wembley Sailing Club is offering an exciting programme of sailing courses for young people.

Working towards RYA Stages 3 & 4, this course teaches sailors everything they need to know to launch, rig and sail a dinghy independently in all directions.

Assumed knowledge: Can sail to RYA Stage 2 standard or have completed a higher qualification but have not sailed recently and need a refresher.

RYA Stage 3 content: Rigging, launching and recovery, sailing techniques, capsize recovery and sailing theory.

RYA Stage 4 content: Launching and returning to a beach, jetty or mooring, double-handed capsize recovery, man-overboard recovery and sailing a crewed dinghy around a triangle course in moderate conditions.

All courses run from 09:30 to 16:30.
