Details

Introduction to Writing Interactive Fiction Stories that allow the reader to make choices are a powerful artform in their own right, creating a dialogue between reader and creator. We’ll start by looking at a few exemplary pieces of interactive fiction, and learn about some of the basic creative concerns of the medium.
We’ll then explore an easy interactive fiction tool called inklewriter and begin writing our own interactive stories. Because inklewriter lets users create accounts, participants then have a work in progress they can come back to and develop further on their own time.

Please bring your own laptop with an eduroam or OWL connection.
