Welcome to my East Anglian-based Sound Bath business!
For as long as I can remember, music has been a deeply healing element in my life, holding power equal to that of nature itself. Every Saturday, I’d delight in playing with sound on my grandmother’s piano—experimenting with sustain, repetition, and a range of tones from low, thunderous sounds to high, twinkling punctuations (much to the chagrin of my poor family!). My musical journey continued at primary school, where I started learning the recorder and later moved on to flute lessons, supported by my parents. Before I knew it, I had earned a degree in music. Over the years, I’ve played in bands, orchestras, and choirs, and most recently, I’ve worked teaching music to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). It has been an incredibly enriching experience to see firsthand how profoundly beneficial music is to everyone.
However, as I advanced in my musical career, I found myself drifting further from the intuitive, playful approach to sound I had experienced as a child. Another memory I have from my childhood is a powerful musical experience that left a lasting impression on me: the first time I encountered a singing bowl. It was at a storytelling event for children with the internationally acclaimed Hugh Lupton at Brooke Village Hall. I was enchanted! I didn’t come across another singing bowl until I was 26, at the Glastonbury Music Festival. There, I bought my very first bowl, and that moment truly marked the beginning of something new...
Now, fully trained to deliver Sound Baths both in group settings and on a one-to-one basis, I’m excited to share this beautiful, transformative experience with you. The benefits of Sound Baths include reduced stress, deep relaxation, improved sleep quality, emotional balance, mental clarity, reaching meditative states, and an overall sense of well-being.
Whether you’re new to sound healing or have experienced it before, I’d be honoured to guide you on this journey of healing and relaxation. Feel free to get in touch to learn more about my Sound Bath offerings and how they can benefit you.
