Course Description:
This three-hour engaging and interactive training is designed to help youth explore the concept of unconscious bias and its impact on creating inclusive and welcoming environments. Through age-appropriate activities, discussions, and real-world examples, participants will develop an understanding of how unconscious biases can influence behaviours, attitudes, and decision-making. The course focuses on fostering empathy, respect, and cultural awareness, empowering young people to contribute to a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive world.

Key topics include identifying personal biases and learning strategies for promoting fairness and inclusion in schools, communities, and social settings. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own experiences, practice open-mindedness, and learn how to support their peers in creating a sense of belonging for everyone.
