Life Capacity™ Game – Facilitator Training
Organizations looking for culturally relevant suicide prevention tools now have a powerful new resource: the Life Capacity™ Game. Co-created with Indigenous youth, this interactive, trauma-informed experience helps players understand resilience, the impacts of trauma, and how to recognize and respond to suicide warning signs.
By guiding youth through life stages using avatars, not personal disclosures, the game opens pathways to talk about hard topics safely and compassionately. It reinforces connection, community support, and cultural strengths, all of which protect against suicide and build long-term well-being.
A practical, relational, and culturally aligned tool for supporting Indigenous youth where they are, with the wisdom of where they come from.
Please note: All trained Life Capacity™ facilitators are required to sign a Memorandum of Responsible Use (MRU). This agreement confirms that facilitators will use the game only within their organization or community program and not for personal monetary gain. This ensures the integrity, safety, and community-centred purpose of the game are upheld.
