IONA & FINGAL'S CAVE SWIM TRIP

STORNOWAY DEPARTURE 6am Friday 29th April
Fully guided 4 day/4 night swim trip departing Tarbert, Harris Friday 29th April 2022 including all transport from and returning to Stornoway. This trip is for the swimming experience and not distance. You will not be required to swim set distances. Some of the walking will be on boggy unclear paths but the swimming will be from gentle sloping beaches. Fingal's Cave will be a swim from a boat so you'll be entering deep water. There may be a second location by boat that day as we have Basking Shark Scotland for the whole day. Please note Fingal's Cave is not guaranteed due to conditions so any money paid towards to this special addition will be refunded in the event of cancellation (this is dependent on numbers who book).

OBAN DEPARTURE 11am Saturday 30th April
Pick up at Oban ferry terminal. 2 nights at St Columba Hotel DBB with lunch. Guided swims on Iona/Mull, Fingal's cave boat charter trip. Depart Monday lunchtime after Easdale Island swim.

There is plenty swimming on Iona in the event Fingal's Cave does not go ahead or we can pop back across to Mull.

Prices for twin rooms are per person based on 2 people sharing. All rooms are en-suite.

The draft itinerary will be:

Friday 29th Depart Harris and travel to Mallaig. Stay at the Morar Hotel B&B
Sat 30th Depart Mallag for Oban ferry to Mull - Walk & swim on Mull & Iona
Sat 30th 3pm Ferry to Iona - Stay at St Columba Hotel DBB, explore Iona
Sun 1st May Fingal's Cave Trip and explore Iona - Stay at St Columba Hotel DBB
Mon 2nd May Depart Iona & Mull and head for Easdale Island (or Fairy Pools TBC)
Stay Cowshed Boutique Hostel, Uig, Skye.
Tues 3rd May - return ferry to Harris
