Strong Gong Bath

Details

As we step into a new year, this is the moment to leave behind the old energies that no longer support who you are becoming. The stories, the habits, the heaviness you’ve outgrown — this gong bath invites you to release them, fully and intentionally.

This session will be strong, deep, and transformative. The powerful waves of the gongs work through the body and energy field, shaking loose what’s ready to fall away and clearing space for something new to rise. It’s a reset at the deepest level — a clearing-out of the old, and a welcoming-in of the fresh, vibrant energy of the year ahead.

You may feel your system shift, your breath deepen, your whole being lighten. This won’t be the gentlest of baths and may not be suitable for everyone, but for those who feel called to it, it will be a potent, uplifting experience — filled with determination, clarity, and a renewed sense of possibility.

Come with an open heart.
Leave feeling energised, expanded, and ready to grow into everything you are capable of in the year ahead.

Instructions

Bring fluffy socks to keep your feet nice and cosy, as well as a water.

There are some conditions where it is considered that gong healing should be contraindicated. Please speak to me if you have any doubt

These are:

Pregnancy, particularly the first three months due to the unstable nature of pregnancy at this time. From the first trimester onwards it is advised to sit at the back of the room where the strength of sound is lower.

Severe mental illness (psychosis, schizophrenia, alcoholism, drug dependence)

Severe osteoporosis

Recent operations with metal implants. The vibrations may be picked up by the implant and cause some discomfort.

Epilepsy

People fitted with pacemakers. The sounds if intense can alter the rhythm

Miniere’s disease - sound sensitive

Tinitus - I have tinnitus myself and while it sometimes gets worse after a gong bath it recovers but everyone’s tinnitus is different so you will know the effect strong sounds can have one you and take the necessary precautions. Sometimes people use ear plugs to reduce the sound levels. The vibrations will still work on your body and relax you.
