An Intro to Clowning - with Joe Dieffenbacher

A one-day workshop for artists who want to step into the world of clowning and discover their inner fool!

Joe is a world renowned clown known for his stage and cabaret work under the name Nakupelle. He was Director of Clown Conservatory-San Francisco, Master Teacher of Clown and Slapstick, at the Dell'Arte School, and has taught at Belfast Community Circus, Teater Studion, Stockholm, Sweden, Wuqiao International Circus Festival, Shijiazhuang, China, Circus Factory, Cork, Ireland, and ACT-San Francisco. He is also author of the recently published book, CLOWN The Physical Comedian.

This workshop looks at some of the core essentials for clowning: curiosity, mental agility, and a healthy sense of humour.
