This class is perfect for people who are new(ish) to ballet!
Maybe you did a little as a child and have been desperate to pick it up again as an adult. Or maybe you've dabbled in other styles but have always been intrigued by ballet. If so, this is the class for you!*
The focus of our ballet classes is on creating a friendly, patient, welcoming environment where you learn the ballet basics, develop your technique and bask in the joy of dancing!
Once you sign up for a class, you'll also be sent a 15min 'Intro to Ballet video' for anyone who wants to get a little insight before heading into the studio. In the video, we explain the format of a ballet class and introduce you to some of the basic techniques and terms! You'll find this video in your booking confirmation email ☺️
*If you've never, ever stepped foot in a ballet class before you may prefer to start with one of out Total Beginner Ballet courses. We run these ever couple of months - feel free to email hello@aedancefitness.com to find out when our next one starts!

You want to access Cotham School from COTHAM LAWN ROAD, not COTHAM HILL. Fortunately, Google Maps takes you to the right place - just search Cotham School!
Once you get there you'll see a big car park with free parking that you can use.
To get into the campus, head to the gate at the top corner of the car park.
Once you're through the gate, walk straight ahead and follow the path around. You should see an artificial grass pitch on your left.
On your right, you'll see a building with a mural painting of people dancing in a circle. This is the Dance Studio.
To get into it, you need to walk past the Dance Studio and then turn right to enter the Performing Arts foyer.
The entrance to the Dance Studio is located in the far right corner of the foyer.
