Self-Guided Tours are available from 9am-4pm, Mon thru Fri and can be booked online up to 7 days in advance--if spaces are available.
We cannot admit groups for self-guided tours with insufficient chaperones. Chaperones' role is to ensure children's safety and that the Arboretum rules are followed.
The Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden is a living classroom! Bring your students to the Arboretum to enhance their learning experience by immersing students with hands-on experiences for science and history.
Self-Guided Field Trips are Sept-Jun, for grades preK-High School. The Arboretum opens at 9:00am daily. Self-Guided tours may arrive any time during normal hours and tours are at the group's own pace.
