Week-long course of 5 swimming lessons run by a qualified and experienced swimming teacher.
This course includes a total of 5 lessons, every day of the week at the same time during the week 17th-20th Aug. Lessons are 30mins long and there will be a maximum of 6 children per lesson. The timeslots available depend on the child's swimming ability.
9.30am Starters
For children who cannot swim and do not have water confidence (i.e. is not happy putting head under or moving in water un-supported)
10.00am Beginners
For children who cannot swim but are more confident in the water
10.30am Improvers
For children who know the basics and want to improve technique and learn new swimming strokes
After the first day, we are happy to adjust the groups to ensure everyone is at a similar level going forward, so if you are not sure which group to place your child into, then please pick the one closest to their ability and we can adjust if necessary.
One-to-one lessons are available (please contact pool.operator@ashburtonpool.com to discuss)
Please ensure you are on time for your lessons. This is a week long course, so you will be booked onto every session in the series.
Parents are welcome to stay and watch, but they will not be able to enter the pool with their child.
