This Taster Session offers a relaxed, no-commitment way to experience Tai Chi Shibashi in a calm and welcoming environment. Participants are guided through gentle, flowing movements designed to ease tension, support the nervous system, and promote physical balance and ease.
The session also encourages mindfulness, helping you feel more grounded, present, and at peace. Alongside the physical benefits, it provides a supportive space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself and others in a friendly community setting. It’s ideal for anyone curious about the practice, seeking stress relief, or wanting a gentle introduction to mindful movement.
The introductory session is £10, and the six-week beginners' course begins the following week. Spaces are limited, so early booking is advised.

Location: The Old Cattle Market, Porthleven Road. Helston. TR13 0SR
Parking: There are a small number of parking spaces directly outside the Old Cattle Market which operate on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
Immediately adjacent to the Old Cattle Market is a ‘Pay and Display’ car park providing 30+2 disabled spaces. There is a further ‘pay and display’ car park located via the pedestrian crossing.
Refreshments: After the session for those wishing to socialise!
N.B. Please wear comfortable clothing. You wont need to bring anything except yourselves!
