Textile Brooches and Pins! - Ages 17 and up - For Beginners

Design and make your own custom brooch using fabric, felt, beads, sequins, trimmings and more! Celina will guide you in hand-stitching your own unique pieces in this hands-on workshop.

Supplies:

• All supplies are optional! We have items you can use including all of the below as well as felt, fabric bits, various decorative threads, and pin backings.
• Fabric scraps
• Embroidery floss
• Embroidery needles
• Beads, charms, doo-dads, bits of fabric or trimming

Instructor: Celina is a freelance costumer/alterations specialist/massage therapist who loves to “make things” as a form of self care and life enrichment. She has been studying art and textiles for decades and holds a BFA in Art History and MFA in Costume Design. When not sewing or quilting, Celina loves to play in her garden, do jigsaw puzzles and run around with her 100 lb. German Shepherd, Lukas.

This class begins after store closing time at 5pm. The sign will say closed, but the door will remain open for students only. Feel free to arrive prior to class start time at 5:30pm to look around. Your instructor will be able to ring you up for any items you'd like to buy during class.

CLASS POLICIES
o Your spot will not be reserved in the class until payment is made in full.
o All students or their Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver before participating in class activities. This should be provided as a check box in your checkout process.
o This class has a 3 person minimum. Class may be cancelled if minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class.
o Beehive Craft Studio reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
If we do so, you'll be issued a full refund.
o Inclement Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that weather would make traveling to class dangerous. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of workshop. Refunds will be processed online within 48 hours of cancellation with the funds going back to your method of payment.
o Everyone works at different speeds and while we expect everyone to finish by the end of the workshop we can't guarantee it!
