Mini Duffle Bag! - Ages 17 and up - For Confident Beginners

Get ready to make your new favorite weekender bag that you'll love showing off during your summer adventures! This duffle looks great with either a patchwork exterior or your favorite fabric print. You'll arrive with your quilted fabrics ready to cut out -- Quilting Lab is a great place to get help with this part in advance. Pick up your pattern from the store when you sign up, so you can complete the process well ahead of time.
You will learn how to attach webbing, install a zipper, and use bag hardware. JoAnna will take you through step-by-step to complete the bag in class, so you can head out in style.

This class is for confident beginners who understand sewing machine operation. You will be required to prepare a couple of steps before class, if you need assistance look at our monthly Quilting Lab where JoAnna will help you get ready for class!

Supplies:

• Pattern included. Pick up the pattern in the store and decide if you want your duffle to be one exterior fabric or patchwork. Follow the supplies instructions on the pattern for fabric needs depending on your decision. Quilt your fabric in advance of the class. Finished Bag Size: 10'' H 17.5''W x 8.5'' D
• 24" Zipper or Zipper tape (and 2 pulls)
• Handle Strapping: you can purchase webbing or make your own
• Topstitching Needles size 100
• Wonder Tape (or any 1/4" double adhesive tape)
• Rotary Cutting equipment including 6 X 24 inch ruler, a large square ruler, mat, and cutter. You can share ours if you prefer.
• 1/4" patchwork foot (without guide) recommended

CLASS POLICIES
o Your spot will not be reserved in the class until payment is made in full.
o All students or their Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver before participating in class activities. This should be provided as a check box in your checkout process.
o This class has a 3 person minimum. Class may be cancelled if minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class.
o Beehive Craft Studio reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
If we do so, you'll be issued a full refund.
o Inclement Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that weather would make traveling to class dangerous. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of workshop. Refunds will be processed online within 48 hours of cancellation with the funds going back to your method of payment.
o Everyone works at different speeds and while we expect everyone to finish by the end of the workshop we can't guarantee it!
