All training aligns with the latest New Zealand Resuscitation Council (NZRC) guidelines, meets NZQA requirements, and incorporates Mahi Haumaru Aotearoa principles to support safe, effective emergency response in Aotearoa.
Workplace-Focused Courses
Our courses are tailored to meet your specific workplace and your home risks, compliance needs, supporting organisations to meet health and safety obligations with confidence.
Participants receive expert instruction, real-world scenarios, and practical support to strengthen emergency preparedness for both workplaces and communities.
Please note: This is Day One of a two-day Advanced First Aid programme that can be offered on request.
Unit Standards 6401 Provide first aid on common trauma and medical situations and 6402 Provide basic life support both form the foundation first aid course.
These unit standards are a mandatory prerequisite for Unit Standard 6400 (Advanced First Aid)
Advanced Component (Unit Standard 6400)
The advanced programme includes an additional four hours of tutorials focusing on:
*Managing multi-casualty incidents
*Taking charge in emergency situations
*Decision-making for workers with designated emergency response responsibilities
This training is designed for participants who hold a higher level of responsibility within their workplace emergency management structure.

NZQA requirements are to provide an NZQA number or a govt ID - Either a passport or Birth certificate -
You'll just need to bring any special dietary requirements, your lunch, wear comfortable clothing, and come with a positive attitude ready to learn in a practical and supportive environment.
