Blast off into a universe of creativity these school holidays! Inspired by Matariki and the wonders of the night sky, our 3-day clay programme invites tamariki aged 6+ to explore outer space through hands-on ceramic making.
Across three fun-filled days, kids will design and create their own cosmic clay artworks inspired by constellations, stars, planets, rockets, aliens, and galaxies far beyond Earth. From sculpting imaginative space creatures to building textured planets and celestial scenes, each day encourages creativity, storytelling, and playful experimentation with clay.
This programme is designed for young makers of all skill levels and focuses on imagination, confidence, and creative expression in a supportive studio environment. By the end of the course, students will have a collection of unique ceramic pieces to be treasured.

All materials included. Suitable for ages 6 - 9.
Please make sure your children bring an apron and an old towel and wear clothes they don't mind getting a bit dirty. Please also pack a drink bottle and a snack for morning tea.
