Creative roots Forest school and Outdoor Learning

Creative Roots Forest School Bath believes that regular outdoor learning, child-led play, and meaningful connection with nature are essential at every stage of education. Our mission is to inspire and enable positive outdoor experiences for children and young people across Bath and the surrounding area. Through our forest school sessions, we aim to nurture confidence, wellbeing, and curiosity while encouraging a deeper appreciation of the natural environment and improving access to nature for all.

Our Group Leaders

Our leaders are experienced nature connection facilitators, Forest School leaders, qualified Early Years and Steiner/Waldorf Early Years teachers.

We are offering well balanced programme which include adult led time and as well as child initiated play and experiential learning. We encourage initiative taking, trying new things, self regulation, observed risk taking, stewardship of the land and nurturing relationship with teachers, peers and nature. Our unique approach is inspired by Forest School and Waldorf pedagogy. We have DBS enhanced checks, Advance Child Protection & Safeguarding Training, and Outdoor First Aid.
