Virtual Conference - London 2023 Revisited - MEMBER TICKETS

Come to our Virtual Conference on 1st July!

If you weren't able to attend our in-person April 2023 conference held in London, this afternoon online event is a fantastic opportunity to experience some of the highlights from the comfort of your own home.

Hosted by Danny, a long standing member and one of our workshop facilitators, our virtual conference will include a recording of the morning panel of four donor conceived adults from April.

This was a really inspiring session. We heard from DC people in a variety of family circumstances including being conceived through double donation, egg donation and surrogacy or sperm donation as well as being in a solo mum and two mum family. The conversation covered a range of topics and we thought it was definitely worth giving more members the chance to hear from Gee, Ollie, Carly and Jamie, who will then be present to do a live Q&A.

We also thought it was worth replaying the recording of Dr Lucy Frith's presentation on the interim results of her research project ConnecteDNA. This research is looking at how home DNA testing is affecting the landscape of donor conception and the complicated picture that can emerge through those connections.

Our conferences are always a lovely opportunity for people to meet others and, although this event is online, we are going to recreate some of that in our virtual small group "meet and greet" break-out rooms. This will preserve the really valuable element of networking, sharing and support that our in-person conferences offer.

The details:

• The conference is on Saturday 1st July and is being held in the afternoon from 2pm to 5.30pm to make it more accessible to those outside the UK and those who have activities on a Saturday morning.

• It’s open to all members and is appropriate whether you’re at the early stages of considering donor conception or have children already. If you attended the London conference in April and want to experience the highlights again, do sign up.

• This is an adult event and the small groups in particular need a bit of private space, so do make sure any children are suitably occupied and not in the same room as you for the duration of the conference.

• Tickets are £30 (or £25 early bird before 19th June) per booking.
