Mother and Baby Swim - Fridays

• Enter at the Main entrance, go past reception and straight to the family changing village, you can sign in with Dawn at the poolside.
• Getting baby a warm fleece lined suit is a great idea for heat as the pool can be cool at times, vinted, charity shops etc can be your best friend as they grow out of these quickly.
• Baby swim nappies can be purchased at any supermarket.
• Please do not enter pool unless there is a member of staff present.
• Hold baby tight when entering water, only use main large steps, do not use the ladder with baby and be cautious of steps, hold handrail and baby well do not rush. Ask Dawn for help if you need assistance
• If late please walk and be cautious when entering pool. Do not rush
• There is only 3 family change units, please share where available.
• We Cannot use the school change.
• There are changing mats at the entrance in a metal crate, there are a few fold down changing units spread throughout the changing village.
• Please ensure your baby is strapped in to changing units and do not leave unattended at any time.
• You can bring hot water bottle wrapped in a towel and a spare towel for baby so that both can be used to keep baby warm. this can be brought poolside to keep baby warm after the class.
• A bottle of boob or snack is always a good idea for once baby and parent is changed.
• A warm house coat is a great for getting out of your wet suit to keep warm while dressing baby
• Please ask for help at any time if you need assistance, this can be difficult to manage if it is your first time navigating the changing rooms, wet/cold baby etc. Make life easier and ask for help, we have all been there.
