This class will discuss what it takes to raise, feed, and milk cows and goats (somewhat applicable to sheep). This class will cover the pros and cons of hand milking vs. a pump system, as well as some low-tech alternatives. It will also cover the type of hay, grain, and other supplements to give milking animals. The opportunity for hands-on experience will be available.
