Come and help Valentina to celebrate her birthday with Forest Adventurers!
Forest School offers children a brilliant opportunity to experience free play outdoors and make some wild memories in the woods with friends.
Activities on offer include:
• Tree climbing
• Swinging in hammocks
• Learning how to safely use the site
• Fire lighting
• Sharing toasted marshmallows
• Nature crafts
• Hill climbing and rolling
• Other forest school activities
There will be lots of opportunities for children to follow their own lead and direct their learning in our beautiful woodland setting. They can set the pace, whether they need some chill-out time after a busy week or if they need to run wild and burn off some energy! Forest School offers the chance to attempt new challenges that wouldn’t be available in a classroom setting, from getting muddy and wet to learning how to light a fire and use tools.
The party will be led by trained Forest School leaders who hold paediatric and outdoor first aid training and has an enhanced DBS check.
PLEASE PARK ON RYTON MAIN ROAD OUTSIDE OF MICHELANGELO'S CAR PARK. The restaurant have requested that we do this when we have these events as they need the parking for their hotel residents and restaurant guests.
Take extra care crossing the road to meet us at the rear of the car park of Michelangelo's.
Staff will gather the children and we'll all walk up to the secret woods together. Children will have hot dogs and s'mores half way through the party.
Children should be dressed for the weather, and in old and/or waterproof clothing please. Long sleeves and trousers are good options if possible. Sturdy boots or wellies are recommended. We can store bags on the site, so children are welcome to bring a change of clothes and extra layers. When the weather is sunny, please send your child with a hat and suncream. Please could children bring along any extra snacks and drinks they may want.
If your child is in reception class or above then you don't need to stay with them, however, you are welcome to stay and join in the fun! Some parents bring a camping chair along so that they can relax a little, or others book a meal in the restaurant so that you're not far away of needed.
