This is an indepth four week course that includes challenging and fun searching games, an introduction to scent detection, tracking & teaching your dog to indicate. Suitable for beginners or dogs who have already attended a Scentwork training session. Harnessing your dog's amazing sniffing abilities creates a contented dog.
Learning is best achieved through positive reinforcement and lots of rewards. Therefore, please bring lots of high-value treats cut up into small pieces. We find, a training pouch can come handy, but it's not essential.
Have your dog on a short lead (not a retractable or slip lead), feel free to bring a long line with you if you have one. Bring a mat, old towel, or blanket, a favourite toy (preferably not a ball) and some water for your dog.

If coming by car, please park on Mandeville Street, Pedro Street or Glynn Road (they are all within close distance to the venue) and not in the Hackney Marshes Pavilion car park, as the car park is strictly for sporting visitors only and they have cameras.
Once on foot, arriving from Millfields Road, walk to the end where Millfields Road meets Mandeville Street and you will see a bridge. On the left hand side of the main bridge, there is a green pedestrian bridge. Once you are over the green bridge, you will see the Hackney Marshes Pavilion building over to your right with a car park in front of it.
We are based between the building and the car park on the right hand side of the building if you are facing the entrance among some large trees.
The area is lovely for walks if you have any energy left after class.
