I am so excited for my camp at Aylesford XC on Tuesday 18th-Thursday 20th August 2026! There are so many things planned and I cannot wait to share the fun with you. This camp is great for experienced horse campers and first timers. These camps are designed to run with a fun, relaxed and supportive approach - brilliant for building confidence in horse and rider.
Arrival is on the Tuesday late afternoon/early evening, departure on the Thursday late afternoon/early evening.
➡️ Tuesday arrival time will be confirmed nearer the time, you are welcome to go for a hack around the beautiful scenery of the XC course with hills and water to play in, before settling the horses into their stable. Dinner will be followed by games and ice breakers, to get to know your fellow campers.
➡️ Wednesday lessons:
1) an Arena XC lesson - a non jumping equivalent is available
2) a Rider Biomechanics session with Hannah to improve rider position, balance and symmetry
➡️ Thursday lessons:
1) XC session on the main grass course - a non jumping equivalent is available
2) a fun ridden session - TBC
Group sizes will be a maximum 4 people/horses. The camp is limited to 24 people.
➡️ Off horse activities will include:
1) a Pilates session
2) a Rider fitness session
3) Equine weigh bridge and feed advice
4) Tuesday night games and fun activities
6) a Wednesday evening talk
MEALS
All meals are included within your stay. You will be asked about any dietary requirements nearer the time and we will do our best to cater for these.
Here is an example menu:
Breakfast - a continental breakfast buffet, plus freshly cooked porridge available
Lunch - a cold buffet including quiches and a selection of salads, fruit and cakes
Dinner - a freshly cooked meal such as pasta bolognese, stew, chilli con carne or similar
Pudding - home made crumble and custard, or similar!
Snacks - between meals help yourselves to cakes, biscuits, crisps, fruit etc
Drinks - soft drinks and hot drinks are available at all times

Included in your stay:

The camp costs £325 and is limited to 24 people. Once full, a waiting list will open. To secure your place; you can either pay in full or pay a non refundable deposit of £100, followed by the balance 6 weeks before the camp is due - there will also be an option to pay monthly instalments.

This camp is open to both those wanting to jump and those who prefer to keep 4 feet on the ground! There will be jumping and non-jumping alternatives available. Your horses will need to be fairly fit to cope with 2 sessions each day, but you will be able to take them at your own pace and have plenty of rest too. Our primary focus is having fun and making some brilliant memories with our horses and friends old and new.
The camp will be jam packed with fun, riding and entertainment, plus lots of learning and laughter too.
Ahead of the camp, a full booking form/questionnaire will be sent out to learn more about you and your horse - dietary requirements, medical information , your horse, your current level of experience and preferred jumping heights etc, so that we can group and match you up accordingly. A full itinerary will be sent out nearer the time.
All human meals and refreshments are provided throughout. You will need to supply your own camping equipment, whether sleeping in your tent or horse box. Shower and toilet facilities are available on site.
You will need to bring your own food and hay for your horse. The stables are situated on grass, one bale of shavings is included in your stay. It is possible to pre-order additional shavings and orders will be taken nearer the time. Shavings are the only bedding to be used please.
Your stables will be emptied and sanitised before your arrival, please ensure they are emptied before your departure. You will need to bring your own mucking out tools please. Unfortunately there are no livery services available on site.
